The Spirits of Gin Lane comes to Nottingham
Nottingham Industrial Museum are so excited to announce a brand new event coming to the museum this summer. Join gin experts and costumed actors on a gin tasting like no other.
Guests are transported back to 1751 to the sinful Gin Lane, based on William Hogarth’s famous etching, and will be guided by none other than Mrs Ginny Stillage, the Georgian gin expert.
As the evening unfolds she she will tell dark tales. Tales of vengeful Tom cats, body snatchers, demonic dogs, and much more.
Learn how to make amazing cocktails to impress your friends. Explore the world of gin production, from its roots in history, to its renaissance as a drink for all tastes. And enjoy a fabulous ploughmans supper alongside your drinks.
