Death of Richard F Potter, retired Director and Vice-Chairman of Nottingham Industrial Museum

We are very sorry to announce the death of Richard F Potter on Tuesday 31 July 2018, aged 87. Until May 2018 and his reluctant retirement due to ill health, Richard dedicated over 50 years’ service to the Society and the Museum.

#RaleighRally at Nottingham Industrial Museum

To celebrate Nottinghamshire Sporting Heritage Day we held #RaleighRally, a fantastic gathering of vintage and veteran bikes in our Courtyard, focusing on local cycling heroes such as Reg Harris, Lloyd Binch and Raleigh UK. We were so pleased that so many enthusiasts turned out in force with such a huge variety of very special bikes.
