Bank Holiday Working Day at Nottingham Industrial Museum
Sunday, 27 August 2017 @ 11:00 am - 5:00 pmNormal entry charges apply
On August Bank Holiday Sunday instead of steaming we will be having a Working Day, where our portable Marshall steam engine, petrol and diesel barn and portable engines, our collection of vintage Tractors and our large display of model steam engines will be working, in addition to our miniature railway and telephone exchange.
We will have Trent Brass performing family favourites in the Gin Yard, Tarot readings by TarotBella in our authentic Living Van and the last weekend of our fantastic ‘Gone but not forgotten’ exhibition celebrating the history of the Black Boy Hotel.
Unfortunately, we cannot steam as a number of repair issues prevent us from powering up the boiler and the steam engines, including our Beam Engine.
If you would like to help us fund this urgent and critical work which is at the core of our museum, we would be very grateful for your support. Please consider contributing to our PayPal Giving donations page:
All money raised via this site is passed to us without deduction of fees and all donors will be thanked on our website “Supporters Wall” unless you choose to remain anonymous, and please believe us when we say that ‘every little helps’.
Whilst we are not in steam we will offer entry at our normal non-steaming prices: £3 Adults, £2 Concessions / Students and of course, children under 16 are free entry and can enjoy our full range of kids activities and trails.
We hope to see you soon.
