Nottingham Industrial Museum is pleased to invite you to an illustrated talk by Roger Clifford on the history of ‘The Willoughby family and Wollaton Hall’ at 7pm on Wednesday 18 October 2017.
Roger is one of Nottingham Industrial Museum’s fantastic Volunteer Guides and his talk will outline the family history of the Willoughbys, the source of their wealth, the architect commissioned to design Wollaton Hall, its stunning Elizabethan country house style architecture, and the building of the Stable Block and Riding School, where Nottingham Industrial Museum is now located.
The duration of the talk is approximately 1hr and the museum galleries will be available for you explore before and after the talk.
Tickets are £7 per person and can be purchased via EventBrite https://willoughbywollaton.eventbrite.co.uk (refreshments are included in your ticket). Please note that this is a pre-booked ticketed event and no tickets will be available at the door due to limited seating. Normal Wollaton Hall and Deer Park car parking charges apply.
