Magical Storytelling – at Nottingham Industrial Museum
Sunday, 25 June 2017 @ 1:00 pm - 3:00 pm
Steaming charges apply
Museums are all about stories!
By telling stories we are able to draw links between the past, the present and the future. Stories help bring to life the humans behind artefacts, giving an understanding of their function and meaning and helping us to make sense of them. Everyone tells stories about themselves and we use stories to understand the world around us.
Museums are often seen as places of learning associated with the presentation of facts. However, they are also places where curiosity is invoked and where wondrous things can be discovered. Our storytellers have the power to conjure up the magic of museums and will help your child to explore the folklore surrounding Nottingham traditions and industries.
Storytelling will be taking place within the Museum between 1pm and 3pm and is free of charge (Please note that Steaming Sunday entry charges for adults and concessions apply for this event). Suitable for children of all ages
Normal Wollaton Hall car parking charges apply.
