Starring the late Albert Finnery, and written by Nottingham-born Alan Sillitoe, Saturday Night and Sunday Morning¬†is revered as one of the most iconic ‘Kitchen Sink Dramas’ produced in Britain. It’s also a beautiful snapshot into Nottingham’s industrial heritage, making it a must-see for history buffs.

The film follows the life of Arthur Seaton, who spends his days working in the Nottingham-based Raleigh factory. But his weekends are made up of drinking and partying as he battles to break free from the drudgery of his monotonous life. And all while carrying on a complicated affair with a married woman.
